Lightning weekend in Brissie town 11/12 August after playing the Upfront Club in Maleny the night before. Stayed with the lovely Rosie Broe (Pirate Brides) – dead end tiny street overlooking river, almost got the caravan stuck trying to turn around. Relaxing time Sat night, jamming with Rose and Rick and meeting the lovely daughters. Missed JohnHolmberg, as he was off sailing the Queensland coast we’ve just come down from!
Lovely Sunday music session at John Hockings, ‘Townes and Country Session’ with a wide range of players we’ve not met before… some divine singing and playing in a range of styles on the back porch. Thanks John and Rosie! Great to finally venture into the river city instead of driving past!
