Goodbye to Numinbah

The Contemplation Seat

7 months of farm sitting in the glorious Tweed Valley has finally come to an end. We’ve made the most of the time like we do…. spent a fair bit of time mixing with bluegrass crew from the Gold Coast and Brisbane and attending the local festivals. And have had fun meeting and playing music with the locals. It has been a good time, which has gone quickly… and I’m going to miss the chooks! I’m now a registered teacher in 3 states and have had to jump through beaurocratic hoops to get that happening. I’ve been teaching music again in primary schools after a 4 year break (which is a bit of a shock to the system) but it has been a bit inspiring too. I’ve even bought a marimba – not sure where that is going to go! But I’m thinking of getting more into running community music workshops in my travels, that cater to adults and children – I end up teaching people everywhere I go anyway…. Wendy xx
